Ahti “Art” Heinonen
Born in Haukipudas, Finland on April 23, 1938 and passed peacefully in his sleep on March 28th, 2022.
He is survived by his children, Allan(Debbie), Glen, and Mariina(Bernard); his grandchildren, Dore(Shawn), and Aliina; and his great-grandchildren, Kaydence, Owen, Noah, and Jayce.
He is predeceased by his loving wife of 60 years, Aune Marjatta Heinonen in April of 2019.
Cremation has taken place, and a private family interment will follow at a later date.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the nurses and doctors in 5E and the emergency department at the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
