Heather Eugenie Arnott nee Glen 2022

Passed away peacefully at Erie Shore Hospice on March 6, 2022 in her 83rd year with her family by her side. Reunited with the “love of her life”, Clifford (2020) with whom she shared 58 wonderful years of marriage. Loving mother of Lori Arnott-Atkinson (Kevin Hedges) and James Arnott (Nathalie Vachon-Arnott). Adored grandmother of Connor, Caleigh, Alexandre and Jonathan. Predeceased by her sisters June Rispen (Bill), Dorothy-Anne Daniel (Harry), Joyce Walker (George), Donna Smith-Thornton (Al/Dan). She will be sadly missed by sister Lynn Lingard (Peter Lingard) and many nieces and nephews. Cherished best friend of Mary Barbara Cosgriffe for over 58 years.
Family meant the world to Heather. She will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her kindness, generosity and loving spirit. Everyone was welcome in Heather’s home and many will fondly remember staying at what was affectionately referred to as “Motel 27”. Heather was a “second” mom to many. Heather always had a kind word for everyone and her goal was to lift the spirits of all she touched every day. Heather would encourage all to live with no regrets and always wear something pink and bejeweled!
Special thanks to the phenomenal staff at Seasons Amherstburg where Heather resided for the last three years and the caring team at Erie Shores Hospice, where she spent her final three weeks.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to your local hospice or the Arthritis Society. Cremation has occurred and a celebration of life will take place at a future date in Toronto. Arrangements entrusted to Families First, 585 Sandwich St. S, Amherstburg, Ont., 519-969-5841.
