Goodwin – The death
occurred at her late residence, on Friday, September 9, 2022, of
Heather Goodwin, of Wellington, aged 70 years. Heather was born at CFB
Goose Bay, NL. She was the daughter of the late Leonard and Joyce
(Love) Williams. Heather’s father was in the Air Force, and after
being stationed throughout various parts of the Country, they came
back to PEI where she attended school in Alberton, Summerside and then
at UPEI. Heather was employed with CIBC for 40 years doing
loans and mortgages. Survived by her husband Gary Goodwin; daughter
Angela (Danny) McDonell; brother Dr. Grant Williams (Craig Prosser);
brothers-in-law Gordon (Carol) Goodwin, Doug Goodwin and Claude
(Lillian) Goodwin; sister-in-law Emily Williams; half-sister Lorraine
(Robert) Brown; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her
brother-in-law Eldon (Kay) Goodwin; sister-in-law Arlene Goodwin; and
by half-brother Blair Williams. Resting at Moase Funeral Home,
Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Thursday, at 11:00
a.m. Interment later in the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery,
Richmond. Visiting hours Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral
service. Memorial donations to the Immaculate Conception Church
Building Fund, the Glenaladale Heritage Trust, or the College of
Piping would be appreciated.
