Hazen’s Obituary
Hazen George Height
Hello! I am Elaine and I come with a broken heart to let you know that my Hazen has gone home on Thursday, July 21, 2022. He was born in Tiddville, Digby Co., on February 13, 1941 to George and Annie (LeBlanc) Height. Just before his second birthday his mom died. At age five, he and his dad moved to Hillgrove. By age nine he had a new mom, Dorothy (Ring). Later he gained three sisters, Janice, Patsy, and Maxine. His first place of work was the Digby Dairy. In 1967, he married me and we moved to South Range. Here he started his passion of working with heavy machines, dozers, backhoes, trucks, crushers, and loaders. His hobbies were eating out, camping, fishing, taking drives, and tinkering with wood. We found our “forever” home in Weymouth North and there we lived the rest of our 55 years together. He leaves behind me; his two sisters, Patsy (John) Lewis, and Maxine (Dave) MacLean; brother-in-law, Brian Kierstead; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Janice Kierstead. Visitation will take place from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 25th in Southville Church of Christ, 808 Langford Rd., Southville where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 26th. Mr. Lou Outhouse officiating. Burial in Southville Cemetery. A light reception to follow. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448. Online guest book may be signed by visiting: www.middletonfuneralhome.com
