Hazel Marie Ward
December 16, 1955 – December 24, 2022
Hazel Marie Ward of Mazerolle Settlement, NB passed away peacefully surrounded by her husband and children on December 24, 2022 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Bruce and Phyllis Stennick.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Vernon; her beloved children Rob (Roberta) and Jeannie (Andrew); her very special grandsons Josh (Jenna), Brandon (Nicole) and Kyle; and her cherished 3 great granddaughters Ava, Everly and Violet.
She is also survived by her siblings Bobby, Avis, Elizabeth, Doras, Retta, Mabel and Frank who she loved dearly. As well as several cousins, nieces, nephews and her special Aunt Jean; her mother-in-law Dorothy, special sister-in-law Valerie and all the extended Ward Family.
Hazel loved being outdoors but was especially happy when she was at the Camp which she called “her happy place”. She enjoyed being there spending time with their Special Friends biking, fishing and sitting around a campfire. She found it so peaceful being in there.
She meant so much to her Family and things will never be the same without her. She is now breathing freely and we have gained a Guardian Angel.
Due to COVID and with following her wishes, there will be no visitation. A graveside funeral service will be held in Spring 2023 where everyone can safely gather together outside to say our final goodbyes to such an amazing woman who will be missed by many.
