It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, father, brother, uncle, cousin and nephew.
Hartley Joseph Matechuk Sr.
Gone up above to be with his mother Valerie, daughter Ashton, brother Kendall and sister Antoinette. grandparents; Thomas and Rose Matechuck, Joseph and Doreen Asapace and Elizabeth Kasheep. along with numerous relatives. He leaves behind to mourn his sudden passing, his children; Latavia, Hartley Jr (Ella), Nikosis (Rachel), Nitanis, Amaya Bird, Kevin Sky Bird, and Nightsong Redwood. His father, Kevin Asapace. Siblings; Jenell, Owen and Vanessa (Cory), along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and friends.
Wake will begin on Sunday October 9, 2022 at 4:00 pm in the Asiniw-Kisik Education Complex, Kawacatoose First Nation. Funeral Service will be held the following day, Monday October 10, 2022 at 11 am in the same location. He will be laid to rest in the South Cemetery, Kawacatoose First Nation.
