It is with great sadness that we, the family announce the sudden death of our mother, Debby Ann Hartigan-Walker on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at home.
Born May 31, 1954, in Sydney, Debby was the eldest daughter of the late Patrick and Ann (Campbell) Hartigan.

Debby is also survived by her nephews and nieces, David, Matthew (Kelsey), Michelle (Shaun), Caitlyn (Adam), Melissa (Kyle), Amanda (Nick), and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Taylor, Isabella, Nora, Aiden and Kayden. Besides her parents, Debby was predeceased by her husband, Dave Walker.
Many of Debby’s younger years were spent working and living in Ontario. When her and Dave found each other, they spent many years travelling while moving goods throughout North America, which she enjoyed.
Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Debby’s wishes a family service will be held at a later date.
