Obituary of Harry Miliano Borsato
BORSATO, Harry- A lifelong amateur radio operator (VE3BSA), Harry travelled the world but loved the home he built on Scott St. In his 97th year he signed off for the last time to join his loving wife Irene. He also leaves behind his two loving sons and daughters-in-law Larry (Bea) and Garry (Nicole), his beloved grandchildren Neil (Courtney), Keith (Brianna), Theo, Alexandra, and Noelle, and his sister Gloria Hampson and her daughters and sons-in-law. He was passionate about his career as a teacher at Beamsville District Secondary School. At home he was an avid gardener, a builder of model aircraft, and a prodigious woodworker. Multi-talented, he was always tinkering, trying to improve something. In his final days he told us that he had enjoyed a long and awesome life. He always had a cheery smile that made those around him feel happy and at ease. Special thanks to the staff at Niagara Gardens, especially Sheila, who provided excellent care to him in his final years, as well as the staff at 3rd floor Care Station D, St. Catharines Hospital, for making his final days comfortable. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St Catharines on Tuesday, September 13th from 2-4p.m. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St Alfred’s Church, 272 Vine Street, St Catharines on Wednesday, September 14th at 11a.m.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Harry
