Passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones; Harry was called home to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at the age of 81.
Harry, beloved husband of Ada (nee Leferink) of 34 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children; Paul (Jackie), Jeff (Sharron), Sandra (Henry), Will, Justin (Tasha). Survived by brothers, sisters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Harry had a passion for life and loved being around family and friends, the people that he cared about most.
Harry was born in Vlaardingen, Netherlands and immigrated to Canada in 1956. Harry, along with his twin brother Ron created many exciting adventures together, which often resulted in misadventures. Harry turned his love for fishing, into a successful career as the owner of Bluewater Fish & Chips for over 25 years.
Friends are invited to join the family for visitation at Chatterson Funeral Home, 404 Hurontario Street, Collingwood on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 6 – 9 p.m. A Celebration of Harry’s life will be held at the Collingwood Christian Reformed Church, 7642 Poplar Sideroad, Collingwood on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 11 o’clock.
