HARRY ADAMS
Harry Adams, 95, of Mitchell passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Ritz Villa, Mitchell on Thursday, February 10, 2022.
Beloved husband of the late Beatrice Adams (2005) whom he married on April 12,1947. Survived by his family David (Joan) Adams, Karen (John) Wolfkamp, Tom (Bonnie) Adams, Peter (Kathy) Adams, Inez (John) Cleland, Nancy (Henry) Poppe and friend Claudette Elliott. Harry was a very special “Papa” to 19 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Dear brother of Donna (John) McDonald and Watson Adams (friend Bernice Sandham). Dear brother-in-law of Ethel Adams and Dalton (Colleen) Lease. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Garnett and Mary (James) Adams, daughters Gladys Adams Reid and Valerie Lansbergen (Neil), sister Pansy Howell (Bud), brothers Sydney Adams and Darrell Adams, in-laws Irene Fleischauer (Percy), Muriel White and Jean Willmore (Bill).
Harry enjoyed many family musical jam sessions and gatherings. He was a member of several local brass bands and sang in the Main St. United Church Choir for over 80 years.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 3-6 pm.
