Obituary of Harold Lloyd Thompson
Thompson: Harold “Shorty” a resident of Bothwell, passed away suddenly at home, on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the age of 87. Born in Bothwell, son of the late Harold Stanley and Marjorie (McMaster) Thompson. Beloved husband of Marjorie (Bergey) Thompson. Loving father of Jack Thompson (Darlene), Judy Cooper (Doug), Mike Thompson (Judy), and Marina Deslippe (Chris).
Sadly missed by his grandchildren Justin Thompson (Sladana), Kimberly Arsenault (Jay), Terri Tylutki (Kevin), Melissa Taylor (Chase), Derek Thompson (Jenn), Kristi Rodriguez (Michael), Brooke Lombardi (Aaron), Brady Deslippe (Fionna), Connor Deslippe (Gabby), Dawson Deslippe and great-grandchildren Stella, Leo, Wesley, Blake, Margot, Noah, Maxwell, Dylan, and Amelia. Predeceased by a sister Marion Holden (Late William). Uncle Short to many nieces and nephews.
Anyone who knew Short will remember his gift to gab, his humour, his love of horses and furry friends. His growing family was the highlight of his life and always put a smile on his face.
At Shorty’s request, cremation has taken place.An Open House Celebration of Shorty’s Life will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at his home 670 Gordon St., Bothwell in the backyard. Please drop in between 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Light snacks will be served. . Online condolences may be left at www.badderfuneralhome.com.
