Harold Smith
1958-2022
Harold Allison Smith, age 64, of Bible Hill, formerly of
Trenton, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2022, in Colchester East
Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the
late Ernest and Jessie (MacNeil) Smith. He volunteered for many years
at the Truro Food Bank. Harold was a very kind person and willing to
help anyone. He is survived by son, Gordon Smith; grandson, James;
great-granddaughter, Amiliah Elizabeth; sisters: Esther and Emma;
brothers: Bradford (Linda), Gordon, Delbert (Linea), Walter (Alison)
and Dale (Lisa); many nieces and nephews; numerous cousins. Cremation
has taken place. No visitation by request. Public graveside service 11
am Monday, August 29, in Hillside Cemetery with Mr. Fergie MacKay
officiating. Donations in his memory may be made to the Truro Food
Bank. (Cheques may be made out to: Colchester Community Support
Society, 580 Prince Street, Truro, NS B2N 1G5)
