Obituary
DAWSON, Harold Bernard—passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 31, 2022, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Pauline Dawson.
Loving father of Michael (Janet), Brian, Amy (Jeramy), and the late Judy. Proud grandfather of Kristin (Jordan), Jeff (Jenn), Dylan (Rie), Jordan, Simon (Marleen), Nikita (Brandon), Chelsey (Pash), William, and Molly. Great-grandfather of Zayden, Tyson, and Rogen. Brother of Ken, Don(d), Cliff, John, Mary-Lou Matchett, and Margaret Bodenham.
Harold will always be remembered as a hardworking man. He was a dedicated member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, as well as an honorable Knight of St. Gregory.
In following with Harold’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held at Reynolds Funeral Home on Thursday, August 18, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. A funeral service will follow on Friday, August 19, starting at 12:00pm at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, or the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated and can be arranged through Reynolds Funeral Home.
