Harley James Watson Savory Saturday February 19th 2022

Harley loved his mom, dad and little brother very much. Harley was proud of his ‘Most Improved Student’ award last year at Bluenose Academy. Harley may not have been the top of his class, but when Harley found something he liked, he wouldn’t stop until he had mastered it – like the Rubik’s Cube. Harley could solve it with his eyes closed. Harley would watch You Tube videos and perfect his ball hockey moves. Harley was learning to play guitar like his dad, and just like everything else he was doing, was not going to stop until he had mastered it. He loved to play basketball and soccer, and many times his lunch box was hardly touched because he was too busy playing during recess and lunch.
Harley was gifted to a large and extended family and will be profoundly missed by all. Harley is survived by his father, Kirk Savory (Jessica), Kirk’s stepdaughter Ariah; grandparents, Jim (Joeann) Stewart; Kirk (Rose) Strowbridge; and Margie Savory (Ricky); great-grandmothers Catherine Demone and Melinda Savory; aunts and uncles, James (Melanie) Stewart; Claire Coulter (Chris); Duncan (Tiffany) Coulter; April (Josh) Clarke; Jessica (Nicholas) Francis; Tracey (Chris)Hodder; Michael Savory, Jesse Benteau, Jordan Benteau; and many cousins, great-aunts, and great-uncles.
Harley was predeceased by his mother, Kaylea Savory; his brother, Hendrix Savory; his maternal grandmother Deborah (Demone) Stewart; paternal grandparents Jim and Barb Stewart; and paternal great-grandfather Watson Savory.
Harley was a good big brother and loved beach time with Hendrix, and he also loved his dad’s spaghetti and his mom’s hamburger casserole. Harley was only 11, but already appreciated sunrises and sunsets. Harley could be quiet and private, but also had a very quick and funny sense of humour. Harley loved spending time with his granddad, and his granddad loved spending time with him.
