Amos, Hardy Lemuel
The passing of Hardy “Junior” Amos of Fredericton, NB, husband of Susan (McAloon) Amos, occurred on May 21, 2022 at his home. Born on January 23, 1954 in Carrolls Crossing, NB, NB, he was the son of the late Tennyson and Winnifred (Storey) Amos. Junior was retired for the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, where he had worked for many years. He enjoyed playing guitar and making model cars.
Junior is survived by his son, Adam Amos and daughter Angie Amos both of Fredericton, NB; sisters Mary Haines (Harold) of Penniac, NB, Sandra Amos of Oromocto, NB and Debbie Amos (Jim Donovan) of Jemseg Lake, NB; grandchildren, Cheyanne, Shyla, Austin and Grayson; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Raymond, David and Blake Amos; sister, Lorna Belyea; infant brother and sister.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 24, 2022 at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Dr. Fredericton from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Our Lady of Fatima, Catholic Church, 7 Leverman Street, Fredericton on Wednesday May 25, 2022 at 10 am with Rev. Dr. Michael McGowan as Celebrant. Interment will be in the Marysville Baptist Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Salvation Army.
