Obituary
It is with tremendous sadness and broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our loved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Hannah Lillian French (nee Wiseman) age 78 years.
Predeceased by her loving husband Abraham 2019; her parents: Samuel and Florence Wiseman; parents -in-law: Jacob and Florence French: sisters: Wilhelmina, Dinah and Hettie; brothers: William, Gavrock and Richard; sisters-in-law: Irene, Ann and Gwen and brother-in-law: Ern.
Leaving to mourn with cherished memories her devoted daughter Denise and son Derek (Tess); granddaughters: Vicky (John), Avery and Sarah (Nolan) and step -grandson Chad; brothers: Wilfred (Wilhelmina), Clayton (Violet), Ralph (Louise) and Winston; sisters-in-law: Nita and Shirley; brothers -in-law: Everett (Mabel), Wesley (Sue), and Gerald (Pauline); special friends Carol and Austin Wells, as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and a large circle of friends.
Hannah will always be remembered for her kind heart, she would do anything for you, she was always there when you needed her. She was funny, stubborn and had no filter, you always heard the truth from her. Hannah loved her children and grandchildren they were her world. We will cherish our memories of her.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the First Responders, for your compassion and care.
At Hannah’s request cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave and Funeral Service will be held at Parish of the Ascension. TIMES AND DATES TO BE ANNOUNCED.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in Hannah’s memory to Ostomy NL Chapter or to a charity of one’s choice.
