June 23, 1946 -Jan 3, 2022
Our beloved Lillian passed away in hospital after complications following successful surgery. She left us after a courageous battle, and failing health. She leaves behind her loving husband Robert of 55 years and two sons Christopher (Marnie) and Cory (Sara) as well as three beautiful grandchildren Lucas, Sophie and Hudson. She will also be missed by her sister Katherine (Ross Mason) and her brother George (Patsy Synott), as well as Wendy (Edward Scully) and her nieces Jessica, Samantha and Colleen.
Lillian was a wonderful wife and exceptional mother. She had a quiet demeanor and inquisitive mind. She was creative in sewing and gourmet cooking having augmented this skill at University. She was a voracious reader, and enjoyed life with her many close friends. She pursued line dancing, self-improvement courses, and loved to visit her family in Calgary and San Antonio where she was fondly known as “Foo Foo.”
The family wishes to thank all her friends for their support through this difficult time as well as the many nurses and doctors who took care of her in the Montreal General Hospital. A memorial gathering will be planned for later this year as public health improves.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Hallam Lillian Rose Buchanan
