Yvonne Muriel Hagblom of Kelowna, BC passed on April 6, 2022 at the Central Okanagan Hospice House.
Yvonne will be greatly missed by her daughter Jennifer and son David (Kara); her 6 grandchildren Cassie, Stephanie, Tessa, Danielle, Erik, and Yvaine; and her siblings Marjorie, Basil, Millie, Melvin (Mary), Peter (Gloria) and Wally (Kory). She was predeceased by her loving husband of 55 years, Bruce; her daughter Sue (Dale); as well as her sister Cheryl.
Yvonne moved from Coquitlam, BC, where her children were born, to Kelowna, in 1981. Working together with Bruce, they started and successfully operated the businesses of BC Belting, Five H Sales, the Rite Connection and DSC Sales until passing.
Throughout her life, she loved bowling, coaching girls fastball, travelling with her husband, and visiting family – including numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Yvonne’s family would like to express gratitude to the nurses of Kelowna Hospice House (COHH) who provided care in her final days.
At her request, there will not be a formal service. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to her chosen charity Mamas for Mamas or to the current fundraiser for Central Okanagan Hospice Association.
