Obituary of Guy Julius Boake
August 19, 1928 – January 26, 2022
Guy passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of January 26, 2022, at the age of 93.
Guy was the sixth of eleven children raised on Downsview farm east of Acme.
Guy is survived by daughter Gail Schrock, sons Darryl, Kevin (Debbi), Eldon, eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, sister Leta Wise, and numerous nieces & nephews.
Dad was a 63-year member of the Acme Elks #216. What he enjoyed was being on the Acme Elks Patrol Team. They travelled throughout Alberta and parts of Canada.
Dad’s greatest joy was spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. A lot of quality time was spent camping with the family. We knew something was up when we saw that twinkle in his eyes and that little smirk.
Dad was predeceased by his parents E.J.C. & Helene, seven brothers and two sisters.
There will be a private family Celebration of Life at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Elks & Royal Purple Fund for Children.
