Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Guy Jamieson August 25 2022..
Death notice for the town of: Eganville, Province: Ontario
I was shocked and saddened to learn of Guy’s passing. My deepest sympathy is extended to his entire family. A pillar of the community has been lost. I knew Guy when he was actively involved in the Lake Clear Property Owners Association and like all his other community endeavours, he provided great leadership, common sense and a wonderful sense of humour. He was always so positive and easy to chat with. May the legacy he left through his teaching, musical contributions, and community involvement continue to be felt for many years to come.
Guy was a great staff member during my time at Cobden Public School. He made it possible for the students in the junior grades to learn to play a musical instrument. There was a set of ukuleles and the various ‘tunes’ could be heard from his classroom at the end of the hall.
May you always have sweet tunes surround you, Guy!
Dear Kathy, Rob and Megan,
We were very saddened to hear of your recent loss. Guy will be sorely missed by all of you and his large community of friends.
Guy was known for his musical abilities and for his pleasant disposition. We remember having spent many happy occasions with your family, both in Eganville and at the cottage.
If you ever have occasion to travel to S. Ontario, please give us a call and come and see us. It has been a long time since we met.
A big hug to all, from our family.
Ilva and David
