Gulnara Umarova peacefully died on October 14, 2022 at the age of 68 from a long battle with cancer. She will be rejoined with Victor (her late husband) and her parents Hursanoi and Nuritdin. Cherished by her dear children, Tatyana and Ruslan for whom she migrated from Uzbekistan to Canada to create a better life. Forever cherished by her close friend Bert. Gulnara will be held dear in the hearts of her family, and many friends far and wide.
Gulnara will be remembered as an active, kind and giving person. She loved travelling and exploring the world. She loved to be surrounded by people and to help them. She was a pillar in the heart of every person she met and will not be easily forgotten.
