MILLS – Graydon John Allen of Aylmer passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Valerie June Mills (nee Turner) of 40 years. Graydon is survived by his children Angela Owen (Tom) of Arizona, Debra Miller (Scott) of Ottawa, Tera Edestrand (Darryn) of Texas; step children Caroline Jaeger (Brian) of London and Julie Barton of St Thomas; grandchildren Grady, Taylor, Michaela, Shawn, Nathan, Nicholas, Megan, Kailyn, Matthew, Brad, Summer and Keana; 7 great grandchildren; and sister Sandra McPherson (Glen). Predeceased by his brother Dennis Mills. Graydon worked as lineman and lineforman for Ontario Hydro, and later as road salesman for Shepherds Utility of Pefferlaw. Graydon was an active member of the Aylmer Optimist Club. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). Cremation has taken place. A private family interment to be held at a later date. If desired, donations to East Elgin Community Assistance Program – Corner Cupboard Food Bank or the London Regional Cancer Program would be appreciated.
