Grant Russel Rogers was born January 10, 1950 in Nipawin, SK to Earl and Anna Rogers (Gustafson). Grant grew up in Shellbrook with his parents and younger sister Lynn. He loved to spend time at the family cabin at Little Bear Lake, had a passion for muscle cars, and enjoyed getting into a bit of trouble!
Eventually Grant made Nipawin his home where he resided until his passing. Grant’s pride and joy were his three daughters Annika, Dayna, and Whitney. He loved family gatherings, having a drink while listening to music, and watching NASCAR on Sunday afternoons. Most of all Grant loved being Papa to Will (9), Lacey (7), and Nora (5 months).
Grant passed away peacefully on November 27, 2022 with his daughters by his side. He will be dearly missed by Annika (Devon, Will, Lacey) Rommel, Dayna (Aaron) O’Driscoll, Whitney (Michael, Nora) Brownlee, his niece Kristin (Ryan) MacKay, his brother-in-law Jack MacKay, and all those who knew him.
