Gordon Reiger, loving husband for 62 and a half years to Margaret Reiger (Whaling), passed away at Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth on December 25th, 2022 at 82 years of age. Son and son-in-law of the late Joseph and Pauline Reiger (Bahr) and James and Iva Whaling (Studiman) Father of Wayne (Sherry Anne) both the late Kevin (Susan) and Todd (Jayne). Grandfather of Christopher and Dana, Christopher, Jonathan (Celia)Matthew, and Nathan (Heidi) Quintin and Garnet, Sidney and Mitchell. Great Grandfather of Bailey, Morgan, Jonah and Hannah, Millie and Edison, Frederik and Finnegan, and the late Grizzly. Great-Great Grandfather of River and London.
Reiger family, Fred (Barbara), Frieda (Harold), Margaret (Joseph) William, Ilean (Sidney), Jim (Cheryl), Joe (Trudy), George (Susan), Pat (Elenor), Dan (Marion), Debbie (Ken), Whaling family, Howard, Irene (Ray) Gordon, Ruth (John), Norma (Ted), Eugene (Mary), Jim (Barbara) Leonard (Sandy), John (Pat).
“Gordie” will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, Stratford and area communities, through hockey and his work, with Cleaver Brooks and TSSA. He enjoyed gardening in his back yard and loved to share his bounty with neighbours and friends.
