Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Hospital October 6, 2022, Gordon Hollett of Lewin’s Cove in his 90th year.
Gordon was a devoted husband and incredible father, there was nothing more important to him than family. He was an entrepreneur, businessman who loved the outdoors. He was an inspiration to his children and led by example with his encouragement, calm demeanor, honesty and hardworking attitude. Most importantly, he was a gentle man who loved his family deeply… one to remember!
Leaving to mourn his wife Georgina, of 69 years; sons, Karl and Gord (Debbie); daughters, Sharron Shave (Rick), Deanna Hollett (Wayne), Amy Hollett (Jeff), Juanita McGrath (Darrell); grandchildren, Joey, Tammy, Haiden, Noah, Sammie, Kassi, Kyle, Sara, Kaelee, Channing, Stephen; great grandchildren, Lakeisha, Tristan, Cameron, Dylan, William, Karina, Heidi, Brady, Millie, Charlie, Avery; great-great grandchild, Leland; brothers, Paul, Junior, Don, Mitch, Bill; and a large circle of family and friends.
Predeceased by parents Norman and Annie Hollett; brothers Lad; sisters Ruby, Shirley, Gladys, Pammie.
The Hollett Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home, Burin on Saturday, October 8th, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
In Gordon’s memory, donations may be made to The Lewin’s Cove United Church.
