Obituary
Gord passed away peacefully with his family at his side at the Algonquin Grace Hospice on June 15, 2022. Beloved husband of Roberta MacPhee, loved father of Cindy MacPhee (predeceased), Lila (Fraser) Moull and Bobbie Anne MacPhee (Trent Nauman). He will be missed by his extended family and friends.
Gord had 60+ year career as a long-haul trucker and loved driving. He took great pride in his farm and all assortment of livestock. But his horses were always his heart’s passion-something that he enjoyed with his family and that allowed him to create community and connections all over North America.
A private family graveside service will be held at the Pevensey Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his daughter Cindy. The family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all of the dear friends, care providers and support workers who made it possible for Gord to be on his own farm as long as possible. Your friendship, care, compassion were such a great gift to him right up until the end. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Algonquin Grace Hospice would be acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
