It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gloria Ann Grant (nee Spencer) announce her passing at the Calder Health Care Centre in Burgeo, NL, on August 24th, 2022, at the age of 68 years.
She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: her husband of 24 years William Grant; her three children Kerrie Feaver (Rodney), Adam Strickland and Morgan Strickland (Andrea); her three step-daughters Gloria Ingram (Albert), Mona Green (Paul) and Melody Grant (Quinton); brothers and sisters Ellison Spencer (Jo-Ann), Hubert Spencer (Brenda), Marion Strickland (Frank), Lena Anderson (Allan), Thanie Green (Gary) and Joyce Loveless (Brian); grandchildren and great-grandchildren Melissa, Bridgette, Cody, Hayley, Paige and Aurora; as well as a large circle of family and friends.
Gloria was predeceased by her parents Alexander and Annie Spencer, parents-in-law William and Minnie Grant, and Father of her sons, Rodney Strickland.
The family would like to send sincere thanks to the staff of Reliable Ambulance and to the staff of the Calder Health Care Centre for the kindness and care given to Gloria over the last little while.
In keeping with Gloria’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will not be a funeral service.
