God called Gloria peacefully on October 9, 2022, at the age of 84. She is now reunited in Heaven with her loving and devoted husband, Manuel Evangelista and beloved grandson, Thomas Anthony. Cherished by her dear children, João Manuel (Elizabeth), Manuela (Isidro), and Susana (John). Proud Avó to Nicole, Christopher, Natasha, Jordan, Jonathan, Nicholas, and Belle. Adoring great grandmother to Carter. Gloria will always be remembered by her siblings Cesar, Fernando, Joaquim, Egidio, Silverio, Maria and João. She now joins her beloved brothers Flávio and Garcia, and parents Amândio and Ana in Heaven. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Thursday, October 13, 2022, from 5-9 pm and Friday, October 14, 2022 from 5-9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Padre Pio Parish (5500 Major Mackenzie Dr., west of Islington Ave). Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (on Hwy 27, south of Hwy 7).
