Passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, with her loving family by her side, on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the age of 75 years.
Gloria Mae Scott Markus (nee Gibson) of Pembroke, beloved wife of Robert “Bob” Markus. Loving mother of the late Kimberly “Kimmy” Tomori (Jon); Christina “Tina” Savage (Peter); and Robert “Rob” Markus (Nicky Cousineau). Devoted Nanny to Matthew “Mattie” & Melissa; Chelsea & Alex; as well as her two great-grandchildren Teghan & Elliot. Treasured daughter to George and Isabelle Gibson (nee Graham). Cherished sister to Douglas Gibson (Shirley) and Sheila Chandler (Stuart). Sadly missed by her cousins, brothers & sisters-in-law and nieces & nephews.
Respecting Gloria’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be hosted by the family at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
