Glenn Michael Fraser, 54, Pictou, formerly of Stellarton passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late John William and Mary Blanche (Long) Fraser. Glenn had an inquisitive mind and was a deep thinker. He enjoyed discussing world affairs and was fascinated with astronomy and what lies beyond. He was an avid gamer and enjoyed many hours playing with his son, Justin, his greatest gift in life. On Glenn’s last birthday he was excited to learn he would become a grandfather in June. Glenn was a hockey and baseball fan and in his younger years played hockey throughout Pictou County. He loved computers and excelled in the knowledge of how they worked. He especially loved his Tim Horton’s 4×3 extra large coffee and was rarely seen without one. He had a special bond with his feline friend, Speedy, who although no longer here was his constant companion for many years. For Glenn, “Life has changed; not ended!” Through faith, Glenn is now reunited with his mom and dad who he lost at a young age.
He is survived by his son, Justin Fraser (Meeghan), Riverton; siblings, Jack (Marjorie) Fraser, New Glasgow; Heather (Doug) Adamson, Windsor Junction; Karen (Craig) Colbourne, Plymouth; Michelle Stacey, Toronto, Ont.; Justin’s mother, Darlene Dykens, Westville; several aunts, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Glenn was predeceased by his nephew, Marc.
To honour Glenn’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral. A private graveside service will be held where he will be laid to rest with his parents in Christ the King Cemetery, Trenton.
