Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved daughter and sister, Glenda Diane Muriel Kendall (nee Swyers) on January 3, 2022, at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre. Glenda was predeceased by her mother, Ruth Swyers (nee Jewer) in 2020, grandparents Walter and Elsie Swyers, and Herbert and Alice Jewer. Leaving to celebrate her life with fond and loving memories are her father Warrick Swyers, siblings Chris (Debbie) and Karen, nieces Jennifer (Mark), Erica (Tobi), great nephew Oliver, great niece Vera, Tom Kendall and a large circle of loving friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins who cherished her dearly from every corner of the globe.
A special thank you to one of Glenda’s best friends, Sylvia Rees, for her unending support to Glenda and the Swyers’ family during this time. The family would also like to thank the caring staff at Dr. L.A. Miller Centre and the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.
Cremation has taken place. Due to restrictions a remembrance service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Glenda’s memory to the organization of one’s choice or extend an act of kindness you can offer to another, which Glenda did often, in many ways, over her lifetime.
