Obituary
Glen Pruden
March 20, 1960 – April 30, 2022
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Glen Pruden, age 62 of Selkirk.
Leaving to mourn his passing are his daughter Jennifer (Brody); granddaughters Clara and Brielle; sister Cindy (Nigel); brother Martin (Pat) and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Glen aka Tea-Bag was born in Selkirk, MB on March 20, 1960. He grew up in Lockport, MB on the avenue where he made many lifelong friends and memories.
Glen had various jobs over the years from working at the hospital to driving taxi. He made friends wherever he went. He was so easy going, kind hearted, with a great sense of humour, contagious laugh and a heart of gold.
It was not hard to love him.
In 2013 Glen became a grampa and then again in 2015. His granddaughters were truly the light of his life. The way he interacted with them was heart warming to watch. Playing with them, always joking around, and of course some playful teasing. He took so much pride in this role. At the end of every phone call he would say “give my girls a kiss and tell them grampa loves them” I will continue to tell them that always.
Cremation has taken place and at Glen’s request there will not be a formal funeral service. He will be interred at the St. Andrew’s on the Red Anglican Cemetery.
You are in my thoughts everyday and that how it will always be, you may be up in heaven now but you will always be with me.
Condolences may be left on his tribute wall at www.gilbartfuneralhome.com
