Glen David Gilbank of Tiverton, passed away at Huron Shores Hospice, Tiverton on Saturday, March 5, 2022, in his 90th year.
Beloved husband of the late Joan Gilbank (née Duncliffe) (2016).
Loving father of Kevin (Laura) Gilbank of Burlington, Karen (Dale) Wall of Tiverton and Keith Gilbank (Nancy Calhoun) of London.
Missed by his grandchildren, Katelyn, Corey, Paige, Ashley, Danica, Cassandra, Chris, Melissa, Autumn and Jade and great-grandsons Aiden and Carter.
Fondly remembered by his sister Irene Edwards of Waubaushene, sister-in-law Joan Gibank of Arizona, members of the Duncliffe family and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, Cadwell and Amy (née Abbott) Gilbank, brother Don Gilbank and brother-in-law Douglas “Bud” Edwards.
Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, on Monday, March 14th, 2022 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., followed by the memorial service honouring Glen’s life at 2:00 p.m., with Ann Maycock officiating.
All attendees must wear a mask.
Final resting place, Tiverton Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Huron Shores Hospice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
