It was with great sadness, hearing of Glen’s passing today. My association and friendship with him provided me with some of my fondest memories of racing in Thunder Bay on the ice, and asphalt racing in SCCA at Brainerd, Minn.. Glen built me some engines that made me competitive with guys spending way more money than my modest budget allowed. His patience with me while going through the process, will always be appreciated and treasured. He gave countless hours of his time and expertise to many of us, allowing us to live our passion for racing. Even after 27 years of leaving Thunder Bay, and racing behind, I still often think back to those irreplaceable moments he helped create, while I am enjoying another lifestyle in Mexico.
