Glen’s Obituary
It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of Glen Dale Reed, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather on Sunday November 27, 2022, in Moose Jaw Sask. at the age of 85.
Glen moved from Bengough SK to Regina in his twenty’s where he began his 37-year career at the Co-Op Refinery and married Sharon, his wife of 59 years. Glen retired from the refinery in 1994 when he and Sharon moved to Alta Vista where they lived 23 wonderful years at the lake before moving to Moose Jaw in 2017.
Glen is predeceased by his parents Arthur and Violet Reed, brother Ronald Reed and sisters Keitha Floyd and Bryda (Gerry) Sureau. Glen is survived by his wife Sharon, daughters Ria Guillaume and Kinda (Rob) Lysack, five grandchildren, Robyn (Brian) Shaw, Lynde Guillaume, Paige (Mike McNutt) Guillaume, Dane Lysack and Reece Lysack, three great grandchildren, Piper Guillaume, Anson Shaw and Henrik Shaw, brother-in-law, Allan Floyd, sisters-in-law Verna Reed and Tonia Fisher and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at F. H. Wigmore Hospital for their wonderful care.
In living memory of Glen, a memorial planting will be made by W.J. Jones & Son Ltd.
