Gladys Marie (Stewart) Price wife of the late Norman Price went on to her Heavenly reward on Monday September 12th, 2022 at the Dr Everett Chalmers Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Gladys is survived by her two sons and two daughter in laws, Wynn & Patricia Price and Galen & April Price. Grandchildren Jamie (Rayma) Price, Corilee (Paul) McCoy, Stephanie Weaver, Stephan (Wendy) Weaver, Angella (Rikki) Price, Joel (Amy) MacLaggan, Sarah (Denny) Hamilton, Bonny (Kyle) Howe. Eighteen Great Grandchildren and five Great Great Grandchildren, two sisters Mavis Rouselle, Ermonie (Gerald) Price, and several nieces and nephews.
Gladys is predeceased by her husband Norman Price, Daughter Althea (Price) MacLaggan, Son in law Larry MacLaggan , Father Patrick Stewart, Mother Frances (Muck) Stewart, Brothers Marven Stewart, Delbert Stewart, Sisters Leona Spencer, Helen Parker, two infant siblings and Great Grandson Chris McCoy.
Gladys was born on July 10, 1934 to Patrick and Helen Stewart in McNamee, New Brunswick.
At the age of 23 Gladys graduated nursing and served for a total 41 years between the Victoria Public Health and Dr Everett Chalmers Hospital. She specialized in Phlebotomy for the last 19 years of her career.
Gladys loved to travel, she loved her family, but most of all she loved God. She was strong in her faith, even in her last days she spoke of how good God is!
Visitation and funeral for Gladys will be held at the McNamee Pentecostal Assembly on Wednesday September 14th, 2022 from 12-1:30pm (visitation) 2pm (funeral). Interment will take place at the Porter Cove Cemetery directly following.
In her memory, donations to Fredericton Hospice or Porter Cove Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
