Passed away peacefully at Oak Terrace Orillia on Friday June 24th, 2022, at the age of 89. Gladys was born in Lindsay ON and predeceased by her parents Ruth and Thomas Madill. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Fountain. Loving mother of Kathryn Scaletta (late Paul), Vince Mitts (Kathy), and the late Lorraine Knight (Bruce). Proud grandmother of Cheryl, Vince, Courtney, Taylor, Spencer, Jordan, and Jessica; great grandmother, and great great grandmother. Dear sister of Gordon Madill and Archie Madill (Joan); predeceased by Margaret Marion, David Madill, Marlene Stronack, John Madill, Donald Madill, and late Joyce Allard. Gladys will be lovingly remembered by her many family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St E. Orillia on Tuesday June 28th from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday June 29th 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Andrew’s St. James Cemetery, Orillia.
