CHUTKA, Gladys May, (Gladdie) nee Lamond passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 4th, 2022 with family by her side.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her beloved children: Lori-Ann (Bruce) Misewich, Bonnie-Lynn (Steve) Hart, Shelley May Chutka, Jim (Nancy) Chutka, her grandchildren: Jason, Kyle, Jared, Kendra, Alysha, Devin, Chelsey, Olivia and Jack, her great grandchildren: Lochlan, Hartley and Aurora, her special niece and nephew: Donald Lister and Linda Reis, her sister-in-law: Anna Chutka, and many more nieces, nephews and friends.
She was pre-deceased by the love of her life, husband Jack, her cherished sister Dorothy Lister (Doe), grandson Taylor Hart, her parents, and her friend John Brown.
Gladdie was born May 2, 1928 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Gladdie and Jack met and married in Winnipeg and moved to B.C. in 1970. She lived a long life filled with love, laughter, music, her family, her strong faith and her many friends.
A special thank you to the caring staff of Baillie House.
A Celebration of her Life will be held Saturday, September 17th at Websters Whonnock United Church, 25102 Dewdney Trunk Road, Maple Ridge at 10:30 AM. Reception will follow after a private family burial.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Cancer Society, Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
