Peacefully
with family by her side, the passing of Gladys Ann (Annie) McGillivray
age 80, devoted wife of 59 years to Francis McGillivray, occurred on
Wednesday, May 25, 2022 in her happy place in St. Georges. Born in
Georgetown, November 14, 1941, she was the daughter of the late
Clarence and Janie (Mackey) David. She is survived by her loving
children, Helen (Paul) McAuley, Kathy Ann (Sheldon) Peters, Frank
(Cara) McGillivray, Janie (Rupert) Glover, Billy (Denise) McGillivray;
sisters, Ella (Penny) David, Laverne (Dan) Crowtz, Janie (Ross) Dixon;
sisters-in-law, Geraldine David, Pat David, Catherine Smith, Marion
Gallant; brother-in-law, Joe Walsh; cherished grandchildren, Olivia,
Emily, Jillian, Mary Ann, Allison, Madeline, Macy, Cibie, Coady,
Tyler, Cassandra; adored great grandchildren, Emerson, Sawyer, Teagan,
Emma, Theo and many special nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters
and brothers, Margaret LaVie, Louis David, James David, Chester David,
Reatha Walsh; brothers-in-law, Mark Smith and Edward Gallant.

Montague Funeral Home, with visiting on Sunday, May 29, 2022 from 6 to
9 pm. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Monday, May 30, 2022 at 10:00
am, in All Saints Catholic Church, Cardigan. Interment to take place
