With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Giuseppa on January 9, 2022 at the age of 82 surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Bruno Iozzo and beloved mother of Candida (Gregorio), Gregorio, Angela (Vito), Antonio and Nicola (Dao). Proud Nonna to Cathy (Mark), Josie (the late James), Cristina, Tommy, Nick, Bruno, Joey, Kimmy, Leo. Giuseppa was also an adoring Great-grandmother to Gabriel, Alexia and Vincent.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 4 – 9 p.m. Friends and family are welcome to attend, however you must reserve a time slot to attend. Please click the blue RSVP button to reserve your time for visitation.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Norbert’s Church (100 Regent Road, Dufferin Street, north of Wilson Avenue.) on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Friends and family are welcome to attend. Capacity restrictions at St. Norbert’s Church are at 50% (100 people).
Private entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery (7241 Jane Street, north of Steeles Avenue). Due to capacity restrictions in place by the cemetery, only the family will attend the entombment.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Giuseppa.
