Gisela Lourdes Madruga DaSilva
May 8, 1931 – January 19, 2022, 90 years old
In loving memory, Gisela Madruga Da Silva passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 19th, 2022, at Trillium Hospital, in Mississauga. Gisela was born on May 8 1931, Cais do Pico in Pico, Portugal. Daughter of Antonio Joaquim and Maria Leonor Madruga, adored sister of Manuel (predeceased). She was the loving mother of Guilherme (Bill) Antonio (m. Rosa Jorge). Dear Grandmother of Krystle (m. Manuel Laranjeira), Philip (m. Kristina) and Kaitlyn Jorge. Beloved great-grandmother of Katrina, Madeline and Zora. She will be forever treasured by her family and friends. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Alzheimer Society.
‘Due to the current pandemic restrictions and direction from our regulator, the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, effective January 5, 2022 all guests attending funerals and visitations must pre schedule their attendance in order to prevent line ups or exceed current capacity limits. We encourage those that are unable to attend in person to express their sympathy by posting a message of condolence to our website, donating to a charity in memory or by sending flowers to the funeral home.’
