It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gino Michielin on October 10, 2022, in Vancouver, at the age of 90.
Gino was born in Montebelluna, Treviso, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1952. He was predeceased by his parents, 1 sister and 4 brothers. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Joanne, his sons Livio (Manuela), and Dino (Billie) and his 4 grandchildren Brianna (Ryan), Tyson, Madison and Hayden.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Kearney Burnaby Chapel 4715 Hastings St. Burnaby.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, October 21, 2022, at 11:00 at St Jude’s Parish 3078 Renfrew St, Vancouver. Entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park, 4000 Imperial St, Burnaby, BC.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson Society, 600 – 890 W Pender St, Vancouver, BC V6C 1J9.
