Gino Corrado 2022

Gino Corrado
January 19, 1928 – January 30, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, nonno, brother, and friend. Gino Mario Corrado was born in Cavasso Nuovo, Italy, on January 19, 1928. He passed away peacefully at home on January 30, 2022, at the age of 94, surrounded by his loving family.
He is pre-deceased by his parents Antonio and Elisa Corrado; brothers: Antonio & Amedeo, Alvise, Giacomo and Bruno Corrado; and parents-in-law William and Bridget Whelan.
Leaving to mourn with broken hearts, his devoted and loving wife and partner of 58 years, Elizabeth (Bette) Corrado; little sister Norma, in Italy; and his beautiful children, grandchildren, and a large circle of family and friends.
He lived an amazing, loving life, full of story-telling and silliness. He was a hard-working, funny man who loved to sing, dance, make vino, cook, and spend time with family and friends. He loved nature and all animals, especially his many family pets over the years.
Cremation has taken place and a private funeral will be held at The Basilica of St. John the Baptist, St. John’s, NL, on Friday February 4th at 2PM. Due to limited seating, this ceremony is by invitation only. A celebration of Gino’s life will take place at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted at his Torbay home.
Until we meet again… Salute

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Gino Corrado 2022..
