It is with great sorrow that the family announces the death of Gilles Clement on Thursday morning, August 18th, 2022 at the age of 68 following a brave and courageous battle against cancer. Loving son of the late Gaëtan Clement predeceased 1985 and Denise (neé Patenaude) Clement predeceased 2019. Dear brother of Diane Sutherland (Jim) of Hanmer, Guy of Sudbury, Michel predeceased, and Louis predeceased. He will also be missed by nieces and nephews and friends. The family sincerely thanks the cancer centre for their compassionate care. They also thank the staff at Act II for their continued support, dedication, and care over the course of many years. As per Gilles request, there will be no visitation or service. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Mental Health would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Sudbury Park Lawn Cremation Services.
