Gilbert Joseph Brazeau 1942 2022

Obituary of Gilbert Joseph Brazeau
BRAZEAU, Gilbert- It is with tremendous sadness we announce the passing of our dear Husband, Daddy and Poppy, Gilbert Brazeau, on Monday December 12, 2022. Beloved husband of 57 years to Judy; loving Dad to Lisa (Chris), Julie (Campbell), and very proud Poppy to Alex, Juliana, Campbell and William.Gilbert will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by his family; his brothers Marcel and Roger and his sister Laurette. He is predeceased by his mother Hélen, father Absalon, and brothers Tom, Ivan, Leo and sisters Mary Rose and Velma.
Everyone who knew him knew he had a passion for knowledge and discovering the inner workings of anything mechanical. As a young man he entered the work force with a drive and determination that resulted in his mastery of all he embarked on. With his tool pouch at the ready for all those in need. He loved anything to do with aeronautics, NASCAR and carpentry. His love of sweets & Judy’s cooking were known to all. He enjoyed his time at the CAW playing darts with his friends and could often be found cheering on his grandsons at soccer.
The family will honour him with a viewing on Friday, December 16th from 2-4 p.m. at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines. In lieu of flowers, we appreciate donations in memory of Gilbert be made out to the Hospice Niagara. Not a day will go by that we won’t think of him and wish he was still here with us. We will love you and miss you forever.
“May there be comfort in knowing that someone so special will never be forgotten.”-Julie Hebert
