Obituary
Germaine Cormier of Foyer St-Thomas, Memramcook (formerly of Gayton’s) passed away at her residence on August 1, 2022 at the age of 85. Born in La Hetriere on February 8, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Ovila and Lorette (Leger) Cormier. She will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Dorina (Francis) LeBlanc of St-Joseph, Therese (Roger) Bourgeois and Nicole (Wayne) Melanson of Gayton’s, five sons, Armand (Corinne) of Pre-d’en-Haut, Alfred (Maria), Arthur (Patsy) and Alonzo (Elizabeth) of Old Shediac Rd and Ulysse of Moncton, 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, one brother, Neri (Carol) of Old Shediac Rd and several nieces and nephews. Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Yvon (2006), one daughter, Dorina, six sisters, Anita, Ella, Dorice, Corinne, Huberte and Loretta, four brothers, Laurie, Yvon, Emile and Valerie. Visitations will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Wednesday August 3 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at the St-Thomas de Memramcook Roman Catholic church on Thursday August 4 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
