Obituary of Geri Pollock
Pollock: Geraldine “Geri” (nee McMaster) –
A resident of Ridgetown, Geri Pollock passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance – Chatham Campus on April 4, 2022 at the age of 90.
Born in Bothwell, Geri was the daughter of the late Archie and Lucille (nee McDonald) McMaster, brother of the late Gerald McMaster and wife of the late Ross Pollock (1986). Cherished mother of James and Jill Pollock of Chatham and Wendy Caron and the late Cliff. Proud grandmother to two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
Geri will also be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her friend Wayne Rumble and his family along with the family of the late Jack Maxwell. Geri was a resident of Ridgetown since 1973, she worked at Big-V and Shoppers Drug Mart for many years. Outside of her work life, she enjoyed dancing and the company of her friends.
In keeping with Geri’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street E. Ridgetown for Memorial visitation on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Memorial Service to celebrate Geri’s life will be held in the Funeral Home on Friday, April 8. 2022 at 11:00 a.m. At the request of the family, all attendees of the visitation and service MUST wear a mask.
Memorial donations to honour Geri’s life can be made to the Pet and Wildlife Rescue -Chatham-Kent or the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 243 Poppy Fund and would be appreciated by the family.
