Gerard LeBlanc
1949-2022
Gerard LeBlanc, 72, of Moncton and formerly of Bouctouche, passed away
peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday May 31, 2022 at The
Moncton Hospital. He was married to the late Virginia (Hape) LeBlanc
(2017). Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Alyre and the
late Edmée (Bastarache) LeBlanc.
Gerard will be sadly missed by his six children; Cheryl LeBlanc
(Rémi) of Dieppe, Michelle Hape (Paul-Emile) of Bouctouche, Gina
LeBlanc of New Glasgow, NS, George (Anne) of Summerside, PE, Gerry
Jake (Cheryl), Paul (Tammy) of Pictou, NS, his eleven grandchildren;
Shania, Erica, Jessica, Holly, Kylie, Becky, Xander, Hunter, Kevin,
Allie, Tyler and his six great grandchildren; Dominic, Theo, Riley,
Kira, Kaleb and Kyle. He also leaves to mourn his sister; Marie-Paul
Cormier (Alonzo Bastarache) of Bouctouche and one brother; Gerald
(Ida) of Bouctouche as well as several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by two sisters; Béatrice and Clarise as well
as four brothers; Raymond, Jean-Paul, Emile and Arthur.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’église, Bouctouche on Monday June 6, 2022 from 2 to 3:45
pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste
Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Monday June 6, 2022 at 4:00.
