Gerard’s Obituary
In Loving Memory of
Gerard J. Guerette
June 6, 1935 – Dec 15, 2021
With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of Gerard (Gerry) Guerette. He died on December 15, 2021 at the Peace River Community Health Center at the age of 86. Gerard was born in Petit Rocher, NB and had moved to Girouxville, AB at an early age.
Gerry was known for his love of life, special sense of humor and his passion for horses. He enjoyed spending time outdoors with family & friends. Whether it was quadding, snowmobiling, or horseback riding, he was always ready for a new adventure. Never one to pass up a good laugh, the twinkle in his eyes, his grin and quiet chuckle would always give him away. Gerry will be missed by all who knew him.
Gerry is survived by his wife Jeannine, his children Therese Wiebe, Denise (Gilbert) Valiquette, Doris (Claude) Maisonneuve, Roger (Cristal) Guerette, Norm (Dione) Guerette, Victor (Sylvie Berube) Guerette as well as his 13 grandchildren, his 12 great grandchildren, his sisters Evelyn, Therese, Eva, and Lena.
He was predeceased by his great-grandchildren Madison & Justice, his brothers Ludger & Adelard, and his parents Napoleon & Rose.
Funeral services for the late Gerard Guerette will be held on April 23, 2022 at Paroisse Notre Dame de Lourdes @ 1:30pm, interment to follow at Notre Dame de Lourdes cemetery.
