1953-2022
On Friday, May 27, 2022 our loving Gerard Francis Deagle, age
68 was called to Heaven peacefully with his family by his side at
Beach Grove Home.
Gerard is the loving husband
of Donna (MacDonald) Deagle of Morell, The Love of his Life. Gerard is
the loving father of Chad (Heidi) Deagle and Cory (Nora) Deagle. The
very proud Grandfather of Cadence, Ruby, Landon and Ryder. He will be
sadly missed by his sisters and brother, Linda (Shane) Hennessey,
Susan (Mike) Trainor, and Daryl (Helen) Deagle, his in-laws, Teresa
MacDonald, Leslie (Christine) MacDonald, Jo-anne (Bruce) Nelson,
Anne-Marie MacDonald (Gary MacKenzie) and Kenny MacDonald. He was a
very special uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased
by his parents Maurice and Alberta Deagle, brothers Gerry and Elmer
Deagle, his father-in-law Chester MacDonald, sister-in-law Paula
Wilson, and brothers-in-law Joey Wilson and Ike Hendricken.
Gerard was the definition and personification of a
big heart. His laugh will forever be contagious to anyone who had the
opportunity to know him.
Resting at the
Hennessy Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home for visiting hours on
Monday, May 30th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral
will be held on Tuesday, May 31st with funeral mass from St. Theresa
The Little Flower Church, Morell at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow in
St. Andrew’s Parish Cemetery, Mt. Stewart.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Alzheimer Society would
be appreciated. On-line condolences may be made at
